Lisa M. Chan has ridden camels in the Outback to get away from her desire to help people. It didn’t work. In the years of the pandemic, she kept working as an acupuncturist, a touch therapist, praying, massaging four-legged, praying, journeying and meditating with a variety of groups for planetary healing, for everything healing and juicing healing.

Her road to happiness in practice and in life has been improvisational; following signs, friends, dreams, mediums and channels, relationships, out-of-the-blue scholarships and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. 

At age 60 when she finished a homeopathy training, she said to her astrologer, “No more school, right?”  Looking at her chart, he replied, “No, your chart says you study till the very end.”  Her energy healer/meditation teacher of twenty-five years laughed, “You’ve gone further than you have in 50 lifetimes.” Huh?

Spirit loves a good joke.

She is a water sign, so her career has been more like following currents in a river; sometimes up a creek, sometimes capsized, but a real Louis and Clark expedition-style career.  She has spent time investigating seemingly incompatible subjects; structuring, rescuing, abandoning and integrating life/ work imbalances with the elemental lessons, protocols and inclusivity of polarity.  Surrendering to mistakes, blunders, loss, abandoning all hope and celebrating the next moment.
